Billions of disposable menstrual pads and tampons are being thrown into our trash cans or down our toilets, ending up in the Earth’s land and oceans. Imagine instead that over the course of a woman’s menstrual cycle, she used a handful of reusable cloth pads, instead of 8,000 to 17,000 tampons. That’s a difference of almost 300 pounds of waste!
Plus, sanitary napkins can take 500-800 years to decompose in landfills. There’s only so much land on this planet. One day, our landfills might overflow! So let’s work together to reduce our waste and keep our soil and water clean and safe for all living beings.
One way we can do this is to use washable, reusable cloth pads and liners. We carry different styles to fit your individual needs. Our Regular Pad is made of 100% organic cotton. It can be thrown in the wash with your regular laundry cycle. We also have a Heavy Flow Pad and a Super Heavy Flow Pad for heavier days.
